ALTAR SERVERS
Young people (3rd grade and up) and adults are invited to serve at the table of the Lord. Altar Servers help facilitate our Eucharistic Liturgies in a consistent and reverent manner. Altar Servers not only assist at Sunday liturgies, but are needed at daily masses, funerals, weddings and special liturgies throughout the year. To serve, you must have received sacraments up to, and including First Holy Communion.
Please contact Michael Thomas at miketv06@gmail.com or 605-881-1433 if you are interested in becoming an Altar Server. Trainings will take place as needed, either individually or with groups.

LECTORS proclaim the Word of God in our Eucharistic Liturgies. Lectors are called to understand the intent of each reading, and proclaim the message of the Word of God in a clear, articulate, and well-modulated voice with proper enunciation and pronunciation, so that the Word of God is heard and understood by the assembly. Any registered parishioner age 16 or older who has received the sacrament of Confirmation.
If you have any questions or would like to become a lector at Holy Name, please contact Doreen at the parish office, 307-672-2848 or dchoong@holynamesheridan.org
MUSIC MINISTRY We are looking for people to play the organ, piano, and/or guitar. Are any of these your talents? If you like to sing, we would love to have you, too! Remember, if you are most comfortable singing out in the congregation, that's great, that's wonderful! God is listening, and He knows what gift He has given you. He knows "that to sing is to pray twice."
To volunteer for music ministry, please contact James Themig at themig.james@gmail.com
